What does my child need to bring to camp every day?
Please send your daughter with a filled water bottle, bathing suit, towel, closed toe water shoes and a lunch in a labeled zip lock bag.

What should my child wear to camp every day?
Your daughter must wear sneakers and socks. She should wear a T-shirt with sleeves, shorts, hat or bandanna. Don’t forget to dress her in the color of the day. * It’s much easier for your child if she wears her bathing suit under her shorts.

Should I put sun block or Bug repellent on my daughter?
No. Your daughters Unit Leader will see to it that Avon Skin So Soft bug repellent and sunscreen is applied each morning and again as needed. If you wish that your child not use our brand, you are free to apply or send your own, just make sure you note that in the appropriate section on her health form.

What if it rains during camp hours?
We will resume camp during rain with appropriate rain activities under the pavilion. In the event of severe weather (thunderstorms or excessive heat) please check our website for instructions or listen to WRKI (I95fm) or WDAQ (98Qfm) to see if camp will be closed early. You will also be contacted via a phone chain so please provide any changes in contact information at morning check in and have a reliable back up for rides arranged in advance of camp.

What happens with the sleepover if it rains Friday?
If there is a light to medium rain, we will have the sleepover. In the event of heavy rain and thunderstorms, the overnight will be canceled. Please check our website for instructions or listen to WRKI (I95fm) or WDAQ (98Qfm) to see if the overnight will be canceled. You will also be contacted via a phone chain so please provide any changes in contact information at morning check in and have a reliable back up for rides arranged in advance of camp. Also, in the event that the sleepover is canceled, your daughter will be invited back to camp for the campfire program on Saturday evening (July 21), time to be announced.

What are the colors of the day?

Do I need to send a morning or afternoon snack for my daughter?
No. Camp provides a snack and bug juice twice a day for your child.

Does my daughter need to wear her Girl Scout vest/sash?
No. We do not encourage vests or sash’s or uniforms at camp.
